Short Bio

I am a PhD student in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Siena since November 2017.
I obtained my Master Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with honours at the University of Siena in December 2016, defending a thesis called “Study of interaction between CD93 and MMRN2: regulation of endothelial cell adhesion”.
My current research is focused on Bioinformatics and Genomics, with a particular focus on development of computational methods for the identification and characterization of structural tumor variants by sequencing data.
