Giovanna Maria Dimitri is currently a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Dr Pietro Lio’.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Siena ( 110/110 cum laude) with a dissertation called “Web documents clustering using web search engine users’ logs” under the supervision of Prof. Michelangelo Diligenti
She received her master thesis in 2014 in Computer and Automation Engineering at the University of Siena (110/110 cum laude) with a dissertation called “ Prediction of Protein Functions using Semantic Based Regularization”, supervisor Professor Michelangelo Diligenti.
She graduated in July 2015 in the MPhil in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, with distinction under the supervision of Dr Pietro Liò with a dissertation on “Predicting Drugs Side Effects from a Combination of Chemical and Biological profiles”. She is part of Clare Hall college.
