Carlo Lucheroni

Short Bio


Carlo Lucheroni has a degree in Physics and a PhD in Physics.
After working as a theoretical physicist in Statistical and Quantum Physics, superconductive and spintronic devices, and Complexity,
he changed subject, and has been working for the last 20 years in Finance at the University of Camerino, in Italy, where he has been teaching Mathematical Finance and Stochastic Optimization related to Finance and Economics.
He is currently working on Energy Finance, especially on nonlinear econometrics and nonlinear and stochastic modelling of renewable energy financial and physical quanties (from prices to wind speeds…).
He has always been also interested in machine learning and in memory related subjects – how memory is formed, structured
and used for forecasting and decisions.
