Short Bio

I am a PhD Student in Information Engineering and Science at the University of Siena advised by Prof.ssa Monica Bianchini and Prof. Sandro Bartolini. In April 2015 I obtained a Master’s Degree cum laude in Computer and Automation Engineering at the University of Siena with a thesis in Computer Vision titled: “Visioner: a person re-identification system for the recognition of uncooperative individuals”. Since 2016, I have been working as an automation engineer in Pharma Integration, a company operating in the field of industrial robotics for pharmaceuticals. My research areas are mostly focused on the application of AI techniques in industrial applications both for the improvement of production processes and for predictive maintenance.
