Short Bio

I am a PhD student in Smart Computing at University of Florence since November 2020, advised by Professor Marco Gori.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering at University of Engineering And Technology, Taxila, Pakistan in 2013. My bachelor thesis was android-based intelligent application , for which i won 1st position in Security based Software Projects at Youth Festival Punjab, Pakistan. I also published a conference paper for my bachelor’ thesis.
Then, I completed my master’s degree from the same university on full scholarship in 2015. My research was in machine learning based on Dementia Patients, in collaboration with University of East London. I published an impact factor Journal in Springer and a conference paper in IEEE on my master’s research. Additionally, i published three term papers in software engineering domain.
I have almost 6 years teaching experience in National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, FAST- Faisalabad, Pakistan. During this era, i supervised multiple projects on machine learning. Currently, i am on study leave as an Assistant Professor there.
My research interests lie in machine learning and i am excited to work on its foundations, for modelling frameworks, in collaboration with mathematics and their application in real world especially in medical science and security systems.
My other interests include travelling, reading books and learning new languages.
