Short Bio

Jinwei Zhao received the Master’s degree in Computer Software and Theory from Northwest University, China, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Software and Theory from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 2007 and 2012, respectively. In 2012 he joined Xi’an University of Technology, where he is currently an associate professor in Computer Science and
Technology at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. His current research activity is on Machine Learning, focusing mainly on deep neural networks and graph neural networks. In particular, he is interested in the logical interpretation method and the physical interpretation method of deep neural networks and graph neural networks. From an applicative point of view, he focuses on data mining, pattern recognition, fault diagnosis, and computer vision.

He has been a member of the China Computer Society and the China Artificial Intelligence Society.
